great progress in the last few days Mr B.   It's looking very hefty - make sure you get some even-extra-stronger tying up stuff to keep this one in the sky.   We don't want the ceiling coming down now do we?

Thanks hendie - She is a 'sturdy bird' :)

Looking good! Your aerial on the floor is a perfect demonstration of the problem of unwanted returns when looking downwards...

Adrian

Thanks Adrian :D

Thanks Chris - good to see the real thing had slightly wobbly aerials too! :)

I still think the PE is too thick but hey ho, it's all done now:

Once the glue's fully dry and my hands have stopped shaking I'll go around again and straighten up if needed, but here she will sit until after the festivities:

BTW, the girls both bought me home a tube of orange Smarties (my favourites) and look at the cap:

That might come in. Vortex generators for example?

Have a great Christmas everyone!

Very nicely done, old chap. Happy Christmas, and since you'll see that Kris Kringle guy before I will (you do sit up with the cookies and Doom Bar all night, right?) tell him I want a new tool Javelin FAW.9. In elfin scale, or what we call 1:72.   :)

Cheers,

Bill

Those aerials look splendid. 🤩

merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and yours. 😇

Thanks Johnny :)

Well, as @perdu requested she's now in formation with her modern 'equivalent':

A nightmare hanging her without knocking the aerials. She's heavy too and holding her up while trying to thread invisible thread was a trial.

Showing off her bottom nicely though:

Fnaar fnaar!
