The wings are big too: Note the tank covers - Eduard do some PE for the externals but they look good to me already. Some really nice internal details too: Who needs PE eh? Lots and lots and lots of windows. Gulp. Some surrounds need filling as per 'BM Sunderland Expert' Alan's (@LDSModeller) post here and I'll be following his other comments too. I'm hoping he might pop in and stop me making any big mistakes. There's more. Two of these: …and a tree of clear parts: Count those windows! Nicely clear though and, for a change, nicely defined frames: Nice Cartograph decals / transfers: Finally, some PE and the masks I bought: Note the 'rope'; there's an anchor! All nice. Don’t get too excited about the anchor, it’d be more at home on Captain Pugwash’s Black Pig than on one of His or Her Majesty’s Flying boats (you can see it on the sprue with the hull parts above and to the right of the bomb doors). Thanks Steve Here it is : Looks anchorish? Couldn't find any anchor pictures on the 'net but there are some interesting videos from Pathe on YouTube. No anchor in the BM walk around of Hendon's here or the video of same here. Not much progress today: I've started getting things ready for IG / black spraying. The small PostIt is the paint colour index, always a pain when they do this IMHO. Progress may be delayed on this as I have some 1:1 decorating to do. On my Mk1 it looked like the guys doing either side had fallen out, or the same chap had done one side on Friday afternoon and the other on Monday morning! Pathetic progress - some holes drilled / burred out: I've also made a dog's breakfast drilling out the four 'extra' windows on the right fuselage. I used increasing larger drills but on two of them I didn't get the drill centred. Now I have to enlarge the holes. My 'fix' is to use a round rat tail file rotating it in the hole - but also pushing the file more towards the side I need to open up (if that makes sense).
