(...) We have also decided on unveiling two more projects which are currently in development – these being a pair of Italian WW2 fighter aeroplanes, the Reggiane Re 2000 Falco and Reggiane Re 2005 Sagittario (link), both in the quarter scale. We expect they can appear on the shop shelves in very early 2020. Both these kits will reach the standards of our latest 1/48 scale models such as the Siebel Si 204, ie with 3D-designed components produced from milled moulding tools. And now, as it seems, these very types are also being worked on by other model companies – but to be honest we are not afraid of this unintended  confrontation, being quite sure of the still-increasing levels of quality of our recent models. As the Re.2000 was used in Sweden designated J 20, I'm very happy about this anouncement indeed.

And the SH track record of late with some nice releases, this looks very promesing.

I totally agree with Johan!

A nice looking J20 from Special Hobby would be VERY appreciated.

I guess their 1/72 example is a bit long in the tooth now?

The Reggiane Re 2005 Sagittario - has never been released as a 1/48 full plastic Injected Scale Model - as the 1/48 Flying Machines edition is rare ( out of production )

and above all , short run and has a lot of resin parts that needed to be prepared for use ( I ended selling my kit - due to circumstances a year ago )

and it fetched quite a bit of money on ebay ( its rare as hell )

so a VERY welcome release - Special Hobby do great kits !

"As one of our Japanese distributors approached us, we prepared a presentation tablo with both upcoming models for the Tokyo Hobby Show. I took it before sending it."
