The 30's.

From the Golden Age of Aviation, its four engines lazily droning in the sky, comes this luxurious lumbering giant, arguably the epitome of traveling in style to mysterious and remote lands.

Humanity has a peculiar talent for ignoring the consequences of choosing bloodshed, misery, death, hunger and suffering, over adventure, discovery, and peace.

Hello Moa !!

So well told !! ongratulations !!

That's modelling at its best !! I really like your HP !!

Thanks for sharing with us !!

Sincerely.

Fantastic looking model of one of my favourite aircraft. I wish someone would make an injection model of the HP 42... Come on ICM, I promise I'll buy one!

Thanks Eivind

I hear that Airfix and ICM are having a quarrel over who will make it.

Both want the other to do it.

I will buy a nice injected kit of it too.

With both our purchases they have enough to cover their teabag expenses.

Not only the model is great but the way you presented it too!

Your photo's really show the model in the best possible way!

Thanks Lighpainter!

I think that taking care of correctly photographing a model makes for a better appreciation of details and enhances the sharing experience.

Cheers

This continues to inspire me, along with many models and dioramas on this forum. It brings back to life a world as it was so long ago, yet it was in many folks' grandparents' time. (And in my parents' time, just.)

Thanks Lootenant Aloominum

These types posses an undeniable magic, a perceivable aura of glamour, and the virtue of eliciting so many positive associations.

Glad you enjoyed the model.

Cheers

FANTASTIC......

your work is every modeler dream........

Best regards Djordje

You are more than kind, djos.

Sometimes I think it's more like a nightmare, especially after my airbrush decides to gush a bucket of paint over the (until then) immaculate finish.

The Shaolin Modeling Monk has no rest.

Cheers
