Boulton Paul Type D tail turret & Frazer-Nash FN82 tail turret

I am looking for advice on how to make some 1/72 BP D type tail turrets for some projects that I have in mind.

I do have "Brittish Aitcraft Armament Vol 1 by R Wallace Clarke whhich gives me some information such as the fact that the type was used on the Halifax B.VII, the Lincoln and the early Shackleton. I do have both a couple of Lincoln conversion sets, a Blackbird one and a Paragon set and frankly I find what is supplied for the turrets not as good as the rest of the conversion sets so I am looking to do better using spare parts such as the FN82 parts from the recent Airfix Lancaster kits. I also have the recent Revell Halifax kit and a couple of Eduard 2121 overtrees for the Liberator GR Mk.V/VI that I can also rob parts from.

Help/ideas welcome.
