Gooney Fan
Hello again This is a follow on question to my request for a Sopwith Pup reproduction kit. Can anybody give me the appropriate Tamiya Acrylic colours for recreating PC 10 and unbleached linen colours. I normally use enamels but am temporarily restricted to the Tamiya range from Hannants Thanks for your recommendations. Gooney Fan

Gooney Fan
Hello Jack Thank you for your effort. It's much appreciated Thanks again Gooney Fan
Chuck1945
CDL was a material more than a color so it can become a case of what looks right. When I was working on a Be2c several years ago, I ended up using a bottle of Tamiya Flat White and adding just enough Flat Yellow to barely tint the white. dragonlanceHR
I always go to WNW site and check out their recommendations - in Humbrol, Tamiya and Model Master.
Brandy
I would use Wingnut Wings site, as they always give colours referring to Tamiya paints and show the mix ratios. If you want ready made colours Misterkit do a great range of WWI colours. Ian
Gooney Fan
Hello limeypilot Please note that I specified Tamiya acrylics in my question. The Misterkit paints may be available but not from the big H and I know that they can be applied with the hairy stick. Sorry Gooney Fan
Brandy
I had noted that, and that is why I referred you to WnW site. That still doesn't mean that Misterkit paints should not get a mention since I didn't know your circumstances. They are also far better, in my opinion, for brush painting. I have never been able to apply Tamiya paints with a brush, I find them absolutely impossible for that. Ian
