Some spurious clumps of plastic and resin needed to be removed. The color guide for the USAAC OA-9 aircraft had issues that @Dana Bell helped me sort out--fortunately the decals were correct. Having written that, I am quite happy with the result. Having that 1 photo of the actual subject kept me out of most trouble--well, except for the goofy spray rail. 1

CrikeyI Ihad heard it was a bit of a so and so. Still they are great looking machines. Thanks and all the best Chris
bigbadbadge
Hi all I have done a bit more. There is no representation for the consul above the windscreen so a representation has been made so some of the levers can be seen through the windscreen. Canopy glazing on and smoothed out, a small amount of filling was necessary. Engine relief vents on top of cowlings and oil coolers added. The entrances to both were hollowed out Flap hinges/actuators added Sliding side window rails added. Thanks for looking in All the best Chris

Yes, but 1/48 and 1/72 also makes difference... Even Pavla kit in 1/72 is far from that one. Cheers J-W

Cliff Thanks Guys Finally painted the upper surfaces and under wings and got the roundels on. I am not happy with the red in the Upper wing roundels so will repaint that. They are the kit decals however the Fuselage and Underwing decals are lovely Xtradecal ones. Brush painted with Humbrol enamels. Hull underside not yet painted as will be black. I used the instructions from the 72nd Airfix kit for the TSS camouflage as the AZ Model one seemed odd. A couple of images at the Top where you can see the Throttle levers ? so @AdrianMF won't need to cook his neck to view. Not sure if I will be able to finish before the deadline what with all else that I have on at the mo as I don't get much bench time. Johnson
That's looking so good Chris, definitely don't want to rush the finish. Look forward to following the remainder of the build and seeing it finished in the New Year. Have a relaxed and peaceful Christmas.
bigbadbadge
Thanks Charlie for your kind comments. I think I will have fun with the rigging on the floats. I won't bother with a WIP though, I will post a couple of photos in the RFI part of the forum when finished. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
