Airfix Lancaster BIII tooling

Hello folks

 

Can anybody tell me whether the latest re-pop of the Lancaster has the un-shrouded exhausts as per the Bi (FE) kit?

AFAIK, the only variation in plastic supplied with the new tool Airfix Lancaster is the inclusion of the extra sprue in the Dambusters boxings.

The unshrouded exhausts are on the standard sprues so should be included in all boxings

I've only got the radial engined BII tooling a present in my stash

 

I'm intending to use the 'old' Airfix toolings in the stash to create a Casa 2.111.

The newest Lancaster release (Lancaster B.III A08013A), is the exact same kit as the Lancaster B.1(F.E.)/B.III (A08013). Unshrouded exhasuts are in the kit, the only difference is the decal options. You can usually tell this becuase Airfix add a letter on the end of the product code to denote same kit with different decal options.

Hello all

 

As I said before I intend to  pension off my 'Old' Airfix Lancs from the stash and utilise them for building a CASA 2.111, a York, and maybe a Beaufighter II
