1/48 - Reggiane Re.2005 Sagittario by Sword Models - released

Interesting - we had only one injected Re-2005 in 1/48 for years... then suddenly two within the same year.

 

It never rains, but when it does, it pours...

Model finally arrived - and impressed with the kit , be aware the 2 resin exhausts are loose inside the large single bag containing all the parts of the kit -

so locate them and put them inside a small bag for safety ( I have ) 

the surface detail is very nice and should look great when painted - hopefully Eduard will provide an etch set for the Cockpit and Bath Radiator -

the cockpit is a good subject for super-detailing by a modeller and I plan to get the 1/48 Air Master 20mm Cannon brass barrels as replacements 

 

otherwise - I recommend the kit

I bought the kit yesterday at Plastic Winter in Bratislava. Also, SH had their fuselage on display. Both look very, very good.
