Antb
Hi folks After a lot of hard work and struggles I finished my 3rd jet last night. Can't say I enjoyed building this kit if I'm honest, the fit wasn't great and some of the engineering is a bit weird. None the less the kits built and it looks alright. Lost interest in it in the end but she's done and that's all that matters. I'm not going to pretend that this build is accurate at all, it was certainly a challenge but has taught me new skills and things i didn't know before. Like the fact i can't get on with Vallejo model air at all! About the build. I invested in the Big Ed set and honestly don't think I should have bothered. Painted with vallejo model air, tamiya and Mr hobby aqueous, weathered with a flory dark dirt wash and a few oils. Also used AK extreme jet exhaust and pale burnt metal for the first time. Quite like them but they did clog the airbrush a few times so more practice needed. Grateful as ever for feedback but please don't be too harsh. I'm a sensitive fellow 😂 This thing is mahoosive! Can't have the nose on as it won't fit in the cabinet with it on 🤣 Enough waffle. The pics. Edited September 4, 2019 by Antb
ScottC
That's a cracking build and a great finish the only thing I noticed is the wingtip missiles you have mounted on pylons then fitted to the wingtip rails, the missiles should go direct onto the wingtip rails, I know the instructions aren't brilliant and if you don't know the aircraft its an easy error, ScottC
stevehnz
Have you got very small hands or is that a monster? Either way, it looks great, some lovely detailing. Steve.

Yes they're pretty pants to be honest, I got some really good help from guys pointing me in the right direction but that error is completely mine. 4 minutes ago, stevehnz said: Have you got very small hands or is that a monster?
