pat d
Finally finished, Hasegawa kit with Eduard etch, some Eduard parts, Aires wells, and Cutting Edge cowl. Done as a early F6F repainted in the 4 colour scheme shortly before being loaded on the carrier, Just starting to show first signs of weathering and wear. Sovereign Colorcoats used (superb paint!) fubar57
Very nice looking aircraft. What did you use to make the insulator by the forward mast?

Toryu
Excellent detail painting and very clean in its text book camouflage. I just wonder if the guns had been fired often enough to leave stains at the ejector ports 😉

Alpha Delta 210
Without doubt, one of the finest Hellcats that I have seen on BM.
Retired Bob
Beautiful paint finish, (I know they weathered in service but they usually end up overdone) Superb looking Hellcat, very impressive.
Robert_
Gorgeous Hellcat! Perhaps many looked more beat up battling ocean elements but there must have been many cleaner ones likes this as well. Bravo.
pat d
Thank you all for your most kind comments. Yes, they were kept up pretty nicely but once they went on the carrier and went to serious work, not so much...

airbus320
Wonderful Hellcat!!! The engine is superb! How did you go about doing the early style gun barrel fairings? Chris
pat d
Hasegawa provided them in the Fleet Air Arm Boxing of this kit but strangely not in any of the USN boxings. One could also possibly modify the 20MM cannon fairings in the nightfighter version. Thank you for your kind comments. Pat D
