Pin
Thanks lads On 8/30/2019 at 3:30 PM, zegeye said: Is it resin? Yes it is, a garage kit in its best, very good. More about the kit: Box content - the producer recommends priming the parts before detaching them, a good advice, makes white resin not so "blind" Interiour You may notice another two boats I'm working on, Chetverikov MDR-6 B5 (that happens to be a "grandson" of ARK-3) and Late 302. Unusual windshield with a negative angle makes it impossible to vacform the transparencies, the producer provides templates for cutting an acetate sheet, but I prefer transparent plastic from Ferrero Rocher boxes The windows are a bit cloudy because of PVA residue, easily fixable with a cotton bud
jrlx
Great start, Alexey! Should be interesting building one. Is it difficult to source? Cheers Jaime

If it is like "where can I buy" then the answer is "nowhere", I afraid. ABM production runs are very limited, usually just about 30 kits.

Pin
You may try to reach Evgeniy at [email protected] but I think that all his kits (not only this) are long sold out and there are no plans to reissue 1

Pin
Still hoping to finish the build on time Too many struts After some studying and discussions on friendly forums I decided to repaint it grey. Supposed to be AE-9 The best way to mask complex canopy is not to mask it at all! Spare black decals are your best friends here MiniWorld guns - little marvels! I'm always deal with them in trepidation. Out of this world, second to none!

jrlx
Excellent progress! I was rather fond of the metal finish, which was superb, but I'm sure you changed it for grey for proper historical accuracy reasons Cheers Jaime
