Paul821
With the failure of the "anything but injection" GB to make the bun-fight cut for 2020, I have now finalised my plans for this Blitzbuild and have ordered the required kits etc.. These will definitely be "anything but injection"

Mig Eater
I just finished 3D printing a kit of a Panzerhund & thought it might be perfect for this GB. I've already removed the 3D printed support material from the parts though (which is arguably analogous to removing the parts from the sprue), would that disallow this kit from the GB? Mig Eater
Here is a finished one made by someone else. It's a pretty simple kit with only 15 parts so it will go together in minutes, I can then spend most of the GB focusing on painting it.

DukeS
Hi All I will happily sit down and watch the Boxing Day test match and build Tamiya's 1/48 Pershing. Edited December 11, 2019 by DukeS
Adam Poultney
Anyone got any suggestions for kits for this? I've built an Airfix 1/72 Spitfire PRXIX in under 12 hours straight before, but I can't find one with the scheme I want (and don't particularly want to buy aftermarket decals). I'm thinking possibly one of these: Hobby boss Do335 1/72 Dragon Vulcan B.2 1/200 (no B.1 conversion here) Airfix Hurricane 1/72 Airfix Spit PRXIX 1/72 (if I can find one! I want the silver scheme) Airfix Spitfire 22 1/72 (in silver, again I would need to find one!) Tamiya 1/48 V1 (perhaps two even!) depressed lemur
I have now "chosen" my kit for the build. When I say "chosen", i have phoned my local model shop and told them I need a kit to build within 24 hours. I have given them a cash limit and free use of the entire shop to choose from. My only stipulation was no snap fix/quick build/Lego kits. Tonight i collect my gift wrapped parcel. Planned opening / build day will be the Friday. If I don't have the paints, it may end up a WHIFF Edited December 12, 2019 by depressed lemur Autocorrect

depressed lemur
Having been to the club meet tonight, I have now returned with my entry for the group build. As can be seen, it is a 1/???? Scale whatsit thingummajig. It looks like a perfect example of a shake and bake kit where parts may fit only where they touch. The included paint schemes are unusual to say the least and are a singular example of this flying aircraft carrier pigeon post man pat van de valk I have no idea where this is going. Opening date is the 26th sometime in the evening. Completion is 27th, sometime earlier in the evening.
