noelbarnes
I've always loved the look of the Whirlwind. I particularly love the RAAF version in the background. Excellent.
Gary Brantley
Two beautiful birds!🥃 I love the Whirlwind and recently bought the Classic Airframes kit too. You've done great service with these two!😀

keefr22
Lovely job, cracking pair of Whirlwinds (even if you did have me googling to see if the RAAF used them - thought I'd been missing something for 50 years....!!) Can I ask what 'simple improvements' you made to the Trumpeter kit? I've got one in the stash and yours looks great! Keith

Keith i moved the radiator back in the wing and dropped the bottom of the cockpit about 2mm....pretty easy stuff but it does make a difference...i also left the canopy open which hides the fact the shape is a little wrong and added the stay between the pilot armour and the rear part of the cockpit.
