Ted
Just had a look at Copper State Models facebook page and they have a picture (maybe a CAD image?) of a Hansa-Brandenburg D.1 model. Hoping it's 1/32.

Jeff.K
WNW have a new kit in development too... it, too, looks most likely a star strutter. they've shown the engine, the wingtop gun fairing, and landing gear so far. this rules out all but a very few Austro-Hungarian aircraft. still some chance it's a Hansa Brandenberg C.I. hope so. don't need two kits of equal quality of the same Austro-Hungarian subject. either way i'm going with Copper State on this one, their Nieuports are excellent and they're a smaller company... we as modelers will benefit if little companies doing excellent work thrive.

Harold55
I had been hoping they would give us more in 1/48 but clearly there is a great market for 1/32. They really make beautiful kits so I would expect thIs new one to do well.

Possibly in several issues or alternative parts as there were differences in inter-plane struts etc depending on manufacturer/series.

CSM already have 3 more Nieuport boxings in the queue, the 21, 23, and RFC 23... these are basically 3 more N.17 variants. through unhappy accident we will get two very thorough kits of the same thing as opposed to one more kit of something that hasn't been kitted (or at least kitted this well) before. that said, i fully recognize how spoiled we are right now as 1/32 WWI modellers.
