Golden Hind

Recommended Posts

Here's my rather crude rendition of Airfix's 1/72 Golden Hind. Built basically OOB. I added period sailors by RedBox. The flags are painted foil and the seascape was reclaimed from a previous piece.

Very nice. Coincidentally I just got back from a few days down West and  visited a National Trust property, Buckland Abbey, the other day while down in Devon/Cornwall where there is a Francis Drake exhibition going on with artefacts and stuff. Found out it was his home. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
