JWM
Hi Polish company Hobby 2000 announced reboxing (after Beau, Folgere and Hurricane) of Avenger, Dauntless, Buffalo and Tenzan by Hasegawa (moulds) with new decals (Cartograph) and Montex masks. https://nowosci.plastikowe.pl/aktualnosci/zapowiedzi-2019-2020-hobby-2000/ The info is not new but I browsed Rumourmonger and did not found it. Sorry If it was known already... Some of them were not produced for years Regards J-W 2
KITCAT
Forget the Montex masks- not good
stevehnz
The B6N1 & N2 have 72*** part numbers, no photos showing. I'm only aware of Hasegawa doing these in 1/48, with Fujimi doing them in 1/72. Have they been OOP for that long? Steve.
Graham Boak
Suspect B5N not B6N. Ex-Mania before Hasegawa.
occa
The Brewster B339B/C is a good idea, obviously it will come with a resin tail cone and spinner. Hase has sorely missed that opportunity for decades. Also I like it that the Grumman Avengers and the Dauntless will be re-released even if indirectly means not by Hase themselves. And maybe since they call them Tenzan they are the Fujimi kits ?
stevehnz
They're bound to be Martin. As the modelling Gods ordain it, I've relatively recently (this year) picked up a Fujimi B6N as well as the Hasegawa TBF & SBD after waiting on them for years. Steve.
Denford
Will be interesting to see how their prices compare with Hasegawa imports
Redboost
Spoiler The announced price seems to be higher than original Hase boxing used to be (not suprisingly) and it is more or less equal to a halve of the Combo package.
JWM
Some idea on prices in eurp you can get from Martola (Warsaw) shop web page https://www.martola.com.pl/en after fast browsing: Brewster239 13.90 Brewster339 15.37 Beaus 26.83 Dauntless 14.63 Avenger 16.83 Folgore 13.90 No info yet on Tenzan, I belive it is not mistake with B5N.... Cheers J-W p.s. I know Steve, especially the Dauntless kits are difficult to get hold of, not only where you live. In a silly mood I sold mine about 5 years ago. Not without a reason - when buying sprues from Hase, one has to pay nearly the same amount as when importing full kits...
Redboost
Well, it depends... other companies pay quite different amounts for the bare sprues.

They seem to have a marked tendency to avoid conforming to curved surfaces as well as general poor adhesion. They are like the old Eduard vinyl masks . I didn't like them either. Fin
Does anyone know what`s inside the Brewster339 B/C box? Does it contain the necessary bits to make this version (tail cone, tail wheel and spinner?) or does one still need to buy the Quickboost/Pavla aftermarket? Best regards Patrice Re released by Hasegawa in January 2019 10+ kits on Hannants website sold out in under 48 hours Would think it unlikely Hasegawa would release the moulds to some one else if there is still a substantial demand for there own boxings Best bet would be the second hand market, or wait for another reissue

The webshop has a picture of the resin. Looks like a tail and tailwheel to me, but no spinner.
Redboost
In addition to this, there should be also different canopy centre part with oval-shaped window in it, or at least a decal for it.
