Welcome to the "Flying Boats and Floatplanes GB II"

 

Can you believe the last one was 2017 !

 

The group build is open to models of any aircraft with a hull and/or floats, designed to take-off from and land on water surfaces. 

 

Aircraft types allowed include:

Flying Boats

Floatplanes

Helicopters on floats

Amphibian helicopters

Aircraft-shaped Ekranoplanes

 

Civilian and military aircraft from all ages in aviation history are eligible.

 

All model materials and any amount of after-market accessories and scratch building is allowed

 

No what-ifs please, only real aircraft.

 

Duration: 00.00h on Saturday 31st August 2019 to 24.00h on Sunday 22nd December 2019

As usual, the general Britmodeller GB Rules apply, basically:

models must be no more than 25% complete when entered

participants must establish and maintain a 'Work in Progress' thread throughout their build, complete with photographs

participants must post photographs of their completed build(s), in the GB Gallery

a Poll (open to all members) will be held at the end of the GB, based on the photographs posted in the Gallery

the GB threads must not be used for the purposes of buying or selling anything
