2Step
This was a great kit, the biggest challenge being the decision how much of the interior structure to display with the completed kit. Well, as you see I went halfway .... (As you also can see, there is a significant gap on the port side of the plane between the wing and the body, so maybe I should have left that open too 😜)            and a link with more pictures of the details Zoukei-Mura included ...  https://photos.app.goo.gl/mtDPzdX9gXv5Zv8J3  Edited August 28, 2019 by 2Step more pics
Toryu
Looks like a great model. It would be nicer to have more pictures here instead of the link.
2Step
@Toryu Thanks. I am not sure about the preferences here in the forum. To post a few pics and a link to the rest was suggested to me when I joined here 🙄
Alan P
Nice job on a very interesting kit. The detail is so crisp, it looks fascinating. 24 minutes ago, 2Step said: To post a few pics and a link to the rest was suggested to me when I joined here 🙄 That's odd, it's clear from the other threads that posting photos inline is by far the most popular method of displaying your work!  Alan. Gary Brantley
That looks very interesting and quite well done! 😀 I wonder how it compares to the older Dragon versions of this airplane?
2Step
@ Toryu/Alan I will post a few more pictures directly with my next "ready for inspection" Â @ Gary I only once peeked in a Dragon box (the Go220 nightfighter version) a long time ago. But I am pretty sure there was none of that internal detail as with this kit. I cannot say anything for how easy the Dragon version would go together, this one was a charm. And I am not a rivet counter, so I don't have an opinion which version is more accurate ... Â Edited August 24, 2019 by 2Step typo

We ask people to post a minimum of four pics from differing angles to make it worth the members' while, but there's no official maximum. Do think of people's poor scroll-wheel fingers though, and don't post hundreds  I would also consider putting those other pics in the first posts too. Just click edit and add them as you did later. People may see the one pic and "harumpf!" away without realising there's more to be had further down. RadMax8
Looks like a great build! I’m glad you added more photos, it’s great to see the work you put into this kit.  Thanks for sharing, flying wings fascinate me!
Devilfish
It's interesting that they provide fuel tanks for this kit. I was at a lecture last night at Metheringham Airfield about the Horten IX, and the lecturer stated that the design called for the wings to be sealed and fuel to be held directly in them. I'm not sure it was a good idea, or even if it would have worked......  As for the old Dragon kit (mentioned earlier), it's not a bad kit. A few areas are a bit awkward. I had to close up the gun bays and leave out the cannons as they wouldn't fit with the engines. I also had to leave one engine cover off, as it refused to sit flat...  20180515_211405 by Paul Carter, on Flickr
SafetyDad
Very very nice indeed! Well done; that's a lovely build! Â I've got a Dragon Ho229 on the shelf of doom - I found joining the centre section to the wings almost impossible due to the flexing of the plastic. Kudos to Paul above - he seems to have managed it! Â SD
2Step
@devilfish good question about the fuel tanks. I do have read a lot of books about the Luftwaffe (I have access to a really great library service!!), but I don't remember that part. I mostly just take photos of the pictures in the book, unfortunately often not of the text. Using the wings as fuel tanks was common at the time, but I am not sure about combat aircraft ... Â a good looking bird you got there!
