Corsairfoxfouruncle
Nice looking Pair of GB's ! ... I always wondered if these inspired the soviets to build the I-16's ?
Tim R-T-C
Little stunners! Top work on the rigging especially.

I always wondered if these inspired the soviets to build the I-16's ? Certainly, I believe their introduction had a very big impact on aviation design in the 30's generally. I love the chubby and awkward designs of the 30's, perhaps they remind me of myself.

Toryu
Absolutely wonderful, impressive modelling. Fantastic detail work on the rigging and painting. The little vignette gives it an artistic final touch. Love it, Michael

Spitfire31
Watchmaker's loupe and self-locking tweezers throughout the build, I'd guess. Wonderful little buggers! Kind regards, Joachim
dnl42
Outstanding work! I assume that's a standard size die next to those 2 fine models! I've got their 1/48 version, and people at the IPMS club asked if it was 1/72 scale.
SUB-SAM
Thank you for the kind comments. They are incredibly small, The vacuum formed canopies I made, for example, are too small to insert a match head! The R2 has full cockpit interior, but you basically can't see it... ajmm
Superb work. I’m building these now as well so I’m truly in awe of you not only detailing but also opening up the cockpit! Hugely impressive. They are lovely kits as well. I hope Dorawings continues to release in 144.

Just refound this thread. Just curious as to what you used for the rigging - metal rods or thread? Thanks.

Nichrome wire. I think I used 0.05mm or there about.
