peekay Posted August 23, 2019 Share Posted August 23, 2019 This is a restoration of a glue bomb. The kit has never been re-released and is now quite rare. The chassis and engine were too far gone so I stole those parts and the wheels from the more common AMT 65 GTO kit. The paint is my own mix of Zero colours followed by Tamiya TS13 clear. The only thing I could think of as an improvement would be to use some UV glue for creating some glass effect on the "dead eyes" chrome headlights. I don't have a "before" photo but the body was intact and not too scarred under a thick coat of paint and I could save the interior.
