Please JETMADS, add a 1/32 Fairey Delta FD.2 to your schedule. Such would be priceless.

Tony

The assortment of announced kits clues a bit about their path of subject selection. Quite a number of early jets including experimental aircraft and they mention of some surprises so why not a Fairey Delta FD.2? Would be priceless indeed. Fingers crossed !

Just had a status update from Jetmads about the Skystreak:

Sunday 29 September 20h58(Belgian Time)

Dear Modellers,

After a few test builds of the Skystreak we redesigned some parts for improved assembly until we ourselves got happy with the results.

3D printing and masters have now totally been completed. Molding is currently in progress and we will publish the boxart on our Facebook page in a few days.

We plan to have published  the images of the resin parts and the fully assembled kit sometime around late October, after which we will start to accept the pre-orders officially.

You will be updated with a separate email prior to the start of pre-orders.

Thanks,

JETMADS Team

I hope JETMADS do well and manage to release all of the aircraft on their list, I’m in for the Wedgetail, Neptune, Lear, A4 and A37 if and when they’re released.

I’d best be off to the Casino, putting this fortnight’s pay on black to pay for it all.

Smokey

P.S. If the E7 does get released, I can imagine many middle aged Aussie men asking their better halves and kids for a little Wedgie for Fathers Day :)

1/32 D-558-1 Skystreak Boxart…

After some redesign work to achieve improved parts fit and assembly, 3D printing and masters have now totally been completed and molding is currently in progress.

We plan to have published the images of the resin parts and the fully assembled kit sometime around late October, after which we will start to accept the pre-orders officially.

Since many modellers have already requested reservations to be made for the kit under their names, we feel it would be fair to inform all modellers and collectors that reservations are currently available. If you too would like to do so, please send us an email and let us know.

Add some South Korean and Turkish men to that as they're flying the E-7, too. And also some British men as RAF signed a contract for five aircraft.

I reserved one but am still undecided, Red or White... decisions decision... 😅

I reserved one too and I plan to build it white as the 3rd aircraft flew more as painted white than red. The renderings show white aircraft both with a NACA shield and yellow NACA logo so there's an option there as well. For the red scheme I think the big "Skystreak" label on the nose looks great but that is on the 1st and 2nd aircraft. Any idea if they will release the 1st and 2nd too, has anyone asked?

The CADs look superb and set at a very reasonable price point, especially with the discount. As for future releases, wow, lots of potential there, I particularly like the idea of the X3 Stiletto, E-7A, Sentinel (local interest) and big B-47...but for me the highlight has to be a 1/48th Fiddler!

Agreed, Fiddler for me.

The boxart is promising, as well as the computer rendered images. I will wait to see some resin though before placing any orders. If resin is as good as what is already showcased I may consider buying a few kits not only for building but also as investment as these kind of rare kits easily double your money on ebay...

Latest info from Jetmads just received Monday 28 oktober 2019 at 13:56 (Belgian Time):

Hi,

We are currently manufacturing the detail parts, all of which are being 3D printed with the highest resolution in order to achieve maximum detail and minimum visible layers. The process is a slow one and taking some time, though we have tripled our number of printers to catch up with the high number of orders / reservations. Some photos of the 3D printed parts will be published on our Facebook page shortly. Parts will be coming attached to their respective numbering blocks, cast separately.

Cast parts have started coming out of moulds in parallel. Decals, boxes, instruction booklets are all being printed.

We plan to announce the pre-orders officially in a few weeks, after we publish the photos of the whole set of parts, the assembled kit and the boxed product. You will, of course, be notified beforehand.

Thanks,

JETMADS Team

:clap:That'is amazing level of detail. The CAD drawings were promising but I was doubtful if the real thing would get anywhere near them. These look great, removing all the doubt... Looking forward to getting my hands on one.

Hey JETMADS, that's a serious kick for a start. I hope you keep it up and release all the exciting models you've promised on your website! FH-1 Phantom, Learjet C-21, B-47 and 1/18 A-4 would be my favourites and can't wait to see those with that level of detail...

Last week I've asked them via their Facebook page when the FH-1 Phantom will be released and they replied it is planned for 2020 :clap2::clap2:

Onderwerp: Skystreak Pre-orders Starting

Hello,

We are glad to announce that the pre-orders of the Skystreak kit will start on January 1,2020. During the pre-order period which will last 30 days we are going to offer a 20% discount off the regular listing price. The discount will be removed once the pre-order period ends and shipments of the pre-orders are going to start on a first-come first served basis. We currently accept credit card payments and reservation holders are kindly invited to complete their purchases after January 1.

We are going to publish some fresh images of the kit parts and the boxing this week. The photos of the assembled kit will be shared soon as well.

We would like to thank you for your patience during our time-consuming, exhausting but equally joyful effort in mass producing a resin kit. We are pleased to inform you that our team is simultaneously working on numerous exciting follow-up projects in various scales. We really appreciate the support, inspiration and courage you have given.

Kind Regards,

JETMADS Team
