I think the low volume of sales for 1/24 kits, plus the fact that you need eight times as much expensive resin for a 1/24 part as for its 1/48 equivalent, rather limits the scope for after-market suppliers to break even. Even with decals (where you only need 4x the materials for a 1/48 version)  there are vastly fewer options available than for the 1/32 or 1/48 equivalent schemes.

The Trumpeter Spit is pretty good save for the cockpit. I can't believe there isn't a resin company out there that can't come up with a decent resin cockpit fr a reasonable price.

There are a good few 1/32 Versions for various kits but that could be due to the greater number of 1/32 Spits
