LDSModeller
Hi All, This is my first of Two planned RNZAF builds. With the gracious assent of our GB Host, I would like to add my number 1 build log prior to "kick off" I started this Kit quite some time (read a few years), but as time and information came along, the build sort of stalled. So this is where it's at currently - have to replace exhausts The Kit Box The Kit parts (long time ago photo) Kit Instructions - typical of Revell The Actual Aircraft, is the first one in this RNZAF Official Photo - HQ-B NZ3008 - Umslopogaas the aircraft (all three) were operated by 14 Squadron based at Ohakea as advanced trainers circa 1942-43 (Copyright RNZAF Museum - used with acknowledgement to Museum) The name "Umslopogaaas" is a Character associated with the Allan Quatermain series. Umslopogaas is a Zulu Chief invented by writer H Rider Haggard - see Wiki entry Umslopogaas See you on Saturday, more info then.
