Chris8039
As I'm building this model I've got to the stage where I've fitted the wheels and it's apparent that the chassis is twisted, has anyone got any tips as to how correct this? I've tried weighting it down on the opposing sides but it's not really having any effect any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Chris
JeroenS
Aw that sucks. I had the same problem with the Revell Samba, which I believe is a not uncommon problem. Because the floor pan consisted of 2 parts which turned out to straighten out against eachother the problem went away by itself. An advice I was given was to heat up the plastic but I had already painted it so I didn't dare to apply too much heat. You could try dumping it in hot water, bending it and then cooling it down with cold water. I think this is how most people do it.
