Hi!

 

Some of my Thunderbolts on the working table...

From top to bottom...

 

Revell P-47D, 509th FS, 405th FG, 9th Air Force.

Academy P-47D, 509 FS, 405th FG, 9th Air Force.

Revell P-47M, 63rd FS, 56th FG, 8th Air Force.

They look great, love the t-bolt! And full points for getting the academy decals to settle so well, I hate them.

Thanks Rob,

Actualy I had my share of hard work to get that "head" to fit the cowl of the Academy Thunderbolt. If I had knewn I had painted the white background and cut it of the decal to get that decal to settle better. Well ,I don't like those Academydecals either. But I am not really satiesfied with the Revell decals either.

 

One more Revell P-47M. This time from the 62nd Fighter Group toghether with the "blue" one from the 63rd. All painted with Tamiya AS paints.

When I get decal's for an aircraft from the 61st FG I build another Revell P-47M...

Another picture of the Revell P-47D. This time with wings and some more red.

Acually, I started building this kit 15 years ago. So I am an slow builder....
