tomthounaojam
Hi Folks, I was reluctant to start this Mig-21 in Indian air force color as there are many MigNazi here but a good friend name Ratish who is also a member here will always help me out and encourage me and finally able to build this kit. It is an Academy kit labeled as Mig-21MF which actually is a Bis. There are two aircraft with a yellow and black stripe on the tail, one is the Oorial and the other the Lancer, since I don't have the decals for it has omitted it, however making the Oorial will be easy to design so in future, once I get my decal paper will print and apply it. Here are some shots I took yesterday, hope you like it and thank you for watching. Cheers

stevehnz
Nice build, I like that a lot. The IAF has a great line up of types, this build has caught this one so nicely. Steve.
Spitfire31
Not quite sure what you mean by 'MigNazi', but your MiG-21bis is a beautiful model – very convincing. I couldn't find the scale. 1:48th, I'd guess? Kind regards, Joachim

zigster
You've done a very nice paint job on your MiG. Being a bit of those "mig nazis" I would call this kit as a "mixture", rather than Bis. Jjust look at pictures of the real thing. Now, when it's done, no point to bring that "red liner" :-)) Zig

haroldk
Hi, Nice work on the Mig. What colour did you use for the grey and is this the "Tipnis grey" version? Thanks, Harold Edited August 29, 2019 by haroldk

I was told by a friend the closes you can called this grey would be the ghost grey as for me, there are 50s shades of grey in Indian Air force, so you need to eyeball the aircraft paint which you want to build with ref image, which I did here. busnproplinerfan
Nothing wrong with the Indian air force, something different is always good. Looks like a well taken care of plane.
