Excellent work Dan. That torch looks the same as the ones that we had (providing it was green).

John.

They are similar John but the US issued Right angled torches were far better quality than our issued copies. I still have one of the US torches but it’s black and yellow. I liberated it from the Dutch Airforce a while ago ;)

Spent the last hour making a fire extinguisher for the inside of the troop compartment.

Turned up in my Dremel (badly) from plastic rod, added the plumbing bits n pieces and the valve, will get plumbed in properly with lead wire.

Cheers Roger, I must be mad !

I've made another fire extinguisher for behind the back door, this one isn't a fixed extinguisher but a hand held, still need to scratch up the mount yet. It lives over the battery box

I never thought I'd go as far as I have with this build, but why the hell not :o

Next up will be to add the anti slip on the rear ramp,

Using this stuff and its brilliant, shame its long OOP, I've used this stuff before and its so easy to use, believe it or not this pack is brand new, never used.

It was bought a long time ago so I hope the glue is still good.

Added the flashlight holder in the fighting compartment,

just rolled lead foil.

Need to add the bottom to it yet but dropped in a flashlight just to test. Difficult to get the camera to focus on it

And flashlight in the holder - what can you say about Dan's attention to detail :o

Oh yes if only cast a coat was still available! 😟

Top work as usual and you must have eyes on stalks to get that detail 👍

Cheers All,

A bit more done tonight, more detail on the fuel tank, I think its the structure that holds the tank in place.

Looking forward to seeing the interior with some painting, weathering and "lived in" details added.

Is the stand that the M113 sitting on in this picture a new "shiny thing" ?

Funny enough Richard, I bought it last year at Telford from RP Toolz and haven't had a chance to use it.

Its really good and makes the build a bit easier. I think it was £15 or close to that.
