John R Posted August 5, 2019 Share Posted August 5, 2019 A very drab sort of day that makes photographers wonder why they bother. It was too windy for the Edwardians and the Camel to close the show. Lots of visiting a/c so I have concentrated on those. De Havilland DH 9 The show started with a gaggle of gliders to celebrate 90 years of the British Gliding Association Schleicher ASW 28 Letov glider from Poland with its own towing plane Habich Slingsby Petrel Motor Tutor Dornier Do 28 with the Anson Antanov AN-2 came to drop parachutists Calidus Autogyro Two Rapides and the Dragonfly SE 5a Ron Palmer's ( I hope I got that right) recently restored example And then some of the usual suspects Comet Hurricane Avro 504 John 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
