morris
This is my first posting on this site. There are some great builds and articles here. I thought I would show my Trumpeter 1/32 scale P-38L back dated to a YP-38 (except for the boom intakes - my limited attempts at that surgery didn't work out. Thanks for looking...

Spitfire31
Welcome to BM! What a marvellous[ly] polished model! If that's foil, you need to divulge your application secrets. Kind regards, Joachim
Alan P
Beautiful job. It's hard to say whether it's a foil job or metaliser from the photos but either way, it's fantastic. Alan.
spitfire
That is really impressive, great build and a fantastic finish, I've never built a model P38, I tried to build a 1/32 scale Revel P38 once and gave up, maybe it's time to give it another shot. mahavelona
Wow! Again, I also want to know how you have achieved the stunning finish. What a jaw dropper.
morris
Thanks for your comments and the warm welcome - the finish is actually Aclad - I highly polished the plastic prior to applying the gloss black finish followed by Alclad chrome - hard part is actually buffing the plastic to a high sheen - it's a bit single dimensional but okay.... Greg Law
Beautiful finish on that model. Almost looks like one of those metal models they used to make.
