Flankerman
Who's been busy then ? - another one for the collection. This time its the 1/350 scale resin kit of HMS Tabard from Starling Models..... It isn't actually finished - it needs the addition of aerial wires (as soon as I get some elastic thread)..... This is a superb kit of a T Class sub from Starling models and deserves to sell well - thus encouraging them to make more Royal Navy Submarines.... Although it is at the limit of my skills - given my failing eyesight and lack of manual dexterity - I really enjoyed building it... I'll post more pics when I get the 'rigging' done... Courageous
She looks lovely unfinished. Apparently Mike at Staling says that sales have picked up on the T Class and work may start on an S Class. Hopefully, Staling will be on a roll and get a few more done for us. Stuart

Putty Animal
Ah I'm so envious! I wish I could afford one of those beauties.

Another option would be search for '1/350 Atlas Submarines' on evil bay, a die cast option but with a little work... @andrewa has done a RFI using one of these metal jobs here: Stuart
Mike McCabe
It looks great Ken, you have done a fine job and the base is a very good complement to the model. As Stuart says the T class has almost sold out of the first run so an S class is on the cards. Unfortunately this will be delayed due to the need to look for a different designer, which is still ongoing, but it certainly is a good chance for 2020. Mike would HMS Thule be able to be made from the T Class ( Alastair Mars - Submarine boat )

Flankerman
I don't see why not - both Tabard and Thule are Third Group T-boats. The decal sheet provides enough penant numbers for P325. The Starling Tabard kit even provides for an open-topped gun emplacement..... I don't know what other visible differences there are? Ken
73north
Thanks - always loved the book on Thule by Alastair Mars - HMS Thule Intercepts
