IRIAF Northrop F-5F Tiger II in 1/48 Scale

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone
Another Tiger from AFV Club , this time the F version.
Colors are Gunze and decals are Print Scale 48-113 (IRIAF F-5)
The model actually is still incompleted because the seats should be changed with the MB ones.
Hope you enjoy.
Barzin.

Hi Barzin,
Lovely Trio mate. you will need a phantom and a Tomcat to make your collection fancier.

And again, can I know Gunze color codes you used for this project ? To me it seems but the instruction manual is suggesting is not accurate so I thought maybe can ask your opinion ?

Have a good one

Hi Ray
Thank you🙏🙏🌺
Color codes I used for this project (F-5F) are:
Sand: H27 and H1 with leveling thinner.I mixed them until my desired result came out.
Brown: I mixed Gunze C41 and C310
Green: H309 straight from the bottle
Bottom Gray: H311 straight from the bottle
Hope this will help you

I actually have built an Iranian Phantom recently and posted it's pictures here:🙂

and Tomcat is on the way

Hi, Barzin

Thanks a lot for giving me the color code and mix details.
Btw, did you mix acrylic and Lacquer paints ? (I assume codes starting with H or acrylic and does starting with C are lacquer based )

Also, I checked on your phantom, it is a marvelous job. good on you buddy.

Cheers,

Ray

Great job!
I also built this plane and I want to repeat it on the 32nd scale.

Hi
Many thanks
To be honest yours is one of the best Iranian tigers I've seen , Specially your attention to the details like ejection seats and color pattern. Those  pilots are really cool.
Can't wait to see your 32nd scale tiger, for sure will be one the best around.
