M55 Quad gun trailer

Recommended Posts

Hello folks,

Does anybody have a drawing of M55 Quad gun trailer ?

Dragon is not available and there are nice decals for M54s with quad guns from Nam...

Or at least measure Dragon´s  kit.

Can anyone help ? Thanks.

Tom

This may be a long shot, but try emailing the Rock Island Arsenal Museum. It was a while ago, but I believe they have one in their collection. They might have photos or maybe even a manual.   http://www.arsenalhistoricalsociety.org/museum/index.html

Thanks, will try.

See

for the same question (and no real answer). The manual does not show proper views...

The Dragon trailer measures 29mm wide by 36mm long and 6mm deep ( for the square boxy body without the wheels ). The wheels add at least 7mm to each side. The towing arm adds about 45mm to the length of the trailer. The circular base of the turntable is 30mm diameter and is about 3mm high.
