One of the US Air Force's "Splinter" Aggressor schemes - possibly 86-295 operated by the 18th Aggressor Squadron from Eielson AFB in Alaska.

Thanks Richard

EDIT:

There's 3 Vipers painted up in this scheme; 86-0286, 86-0295 and 86-0310. Twobobs did markings for the 86-0295

Ok, thanks.

So, the tan decals are way off.............. I'll wait for another decal sheet and build another jet right now.

Yeah, too bad about the TwoBobs sheet.

Mind you, I bought their "Kosovo Bandits" F-117 sheet specifically for the mission markings,... only to find out upon delivery that they were missing from the sheet.

Upon my inquiry, TwoBobs stated that they were omitted because they were too small to be printed in 1/72nd...

Cheers,

Andre

That's disappointing, and a bit mystifying really. That fact should have been made obvious at point of sale!

Combat aircraft magazine did a short article on aggressor units. Your F-16C is briefly mentioned.

It also featured on the cover of it's USA AF yearbook, probally because of it's sheer beauty. No further details on the plane in the magazine though. 🤨
