Creepy Pete
It was introduced in 2017. Here's an article about it with not much info: https://theaviationist.com/2017/10/08/new-f-16c-aggressor-color-livery-dubbed-bdu-splinter-unveiled-at-eielson-air-force/ Twobobs does 1/48 and 1/72 decals for it: http://www.twobobs.net/contents/en-us/p713_48-262-F-16C-Alaskan-Splinters-Part-II.html http://www.twobobs.net/contents/en-us/p712_72-107-F-16C-Alaskan-Splinters-Pt-II.html Edited August 1, 2019 by Creepy Pete 3

Keith T
I think I read a discussion regarding the shade of tan used on the Two Bobs decals........... does anyone know the general consensus on this ?
Boman
It's this one; http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/303666-148-f-16-bdu-sprinter-and-2b-decals/page/2/ Having read through it, the colors are off unfortunatelly😉

Keith T
Ok, thanks. So, the tan decals are way off.............. I'll wait for another decal sheet and build another jet right now.

Mind you, I bought their "Kosovo Bandits" F-117 sheet specifically for the mission markings,... only to find out upon delivery that they were missing from the sheet. Upon my inquiry, TwoBobs stated that they were omitted because they were too small to be printed in 1/72nd... Cheers, Andre

That's disappointing, and a bit mystifying really. That fact should have been made obvious at point of sale!

DutchXActo
Combat aircraft magazine did a short article on aggressor units. Your F-16C is briefly mentioned. https://combataircraft.keypublishing.com/2018/11/22/expanding-aggressor-community-brings-welcome-variety/ It also featured on the cover of it's USA AF yearbook, probally because of it's sheer beauty. No further details on the plane in the magazine though. 🤨 https://pocketmags.com/us/combat-aircraft-magazine/usaf-yearbook-2019
