Esci 1/72 Tu-22M Backfire

Recommended Posts

This one has been around for a while and I can't comment on its accuracy but it goes together quite well with decent fit all round. Not a lot of detail for its size and it is big. Sprayed with Vallejo undersides and medium sea grey on top.

Very nice, Derek! I have heard that this isn't the easiest kit to manage- I have had one on the shelf for a long time, but never had the nerve to start work on it. A BIG mutha, to be sure, but you have done a very nice job on yours. I think it and the Su-24M are the two prettiest swing wing Russki jets.

Go for it. It isn't too bad. The only issue is its sheer size.
