mick b
Superb modelling. I never ceased to be amazed how filthy the Sea Kings were at Yeovilton air days! Mike

CT Modeller
That's excellent - just how a Sea King should look. It's not often that you see a helicopter model with just the right amount of rotor droop, blades being properly finished with the right colours and markings. The well used orange seat cushions, antennas and weathering also show how much you've put into this one. My log book shows me I was aboard ZA166 for its first flight on 4th March 1982 (Flight Test Engineer at Westlands) and I'm glad it made it all the way through to being a rescue Sea King in MSG and red.

petetasker
Stunning model. Cant tell you how much miss the Sea Kings especially the SAR Navy or Air Force. Very well done. Lovely weathering - they were filthy weren’t they!

Davies 435
Amazing model, weathering is PERFECT. I've bought and am restoring XZ578 (30) so am doing virtually the same hing as you.....just on 1:1 scale (stronger glue I expect). I could do with a "rivet-counter" to help me with research and pictures - fancy helping??

FIGHTS ON
outstanding build, probably the best Seaking I've seen on these forums. Is that a piece of masking still left on the centre frame of the front canopy?
Davies 435
Did 166 have a different nose or glazing to the others? That central screen surely would be clear??

It’s not the first time I’ve left masking on a canopy!
