SpeedyGonzales
Last year I had a business trip to Japan. After office hours I paid numerous visits to Akihabara, the hobby capital of Tokyo. I felt like a mosquito flying over a nude camp and flew low especially on large scale Tamiyas, many details and decal sets a modeleler probably would not find anywhere else than Japan. If you are a modeling hobbyist and aviation fan, Akihabara is the place you may wish to be buried when you're dead Here is the first model of that shopping spree off my workbench, a Tamiya F-4EJ Kai in 32nd scale, wearing a great scheme (decals of which however are quite un-Japanese and come from Zotz). I added a PE cockpit set and had some riveting with a riveting tool. Decals were fun to apply, but stencils are another story. Ahh, I missed Russian aircraft with only red stars and a number on the nose I still have a few more Japanese big birds on the bench, awaiting take off sometime soon. I liked how this Phantom turned out and I hope you like it, too. Any comments more than welcome, as always. Cheers Speedy Edited July 29, 2019 by SpeedyGonzales

JohnMcDonnell
That model is truly inspiring, I've got to build one with that scheme. Great work indeed, also black background is a very good idea to show it better.
