Fly Models 1/72 Bf 108

Recommended Posts

The Taifun is finished. I really like the attractive lines of the Bf 108, which Fly Models has captured perfectly. There were some part substitutions: the landing gear came from a Hasegawa Bf 109 E, the pitot tube is telescoping Albion Alloys aluminum tubing and the landing light was shaped from a piece of sprue. I have many more Fly 108s in the stash, with plans for several Luftwaffe versions, conversions (radial engine and Bf 108 A), perhaps even a vignette of an air salon in Brazil (!).

That is beautiful. I had to re-check the scale, and if you’d said it was 1/48, I’d have been impressed....but 1/72? Wow, that is really something.

Very cool build. Congratulations 😀

Cheers

Tania
