Mig88 Posted July 25, 2019 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Hello everyone Here is one of three 1:144 Focke-Wulf Fw 190Ds in fictitious schemes and/or variants I built back in 2013. In this case, it's a Platz Fw 190D-9 kit in an MTO scheme representing a fictitious machine from 4.JG27 based in Italy in 1945. The Dora never served in the MTO and I thought (correctly) that it would look great. The kit was built OOB and fully painted, weathered and varnished with brush. The JG27-specific markings (emblem, number, etc) came from a Sweet Bf 109F kit.
