Peter Roberts
I came across a reference, here I think, to a booklet called "A Special Aircraft" or something like that - I think. It was a booklet prepared around a Lancaster, either 'S' Sugar or 'G' George. I found it on ABE at the time, but now cannot find it, nor the reference to it. If anyone can follow what I am talking about, can you please help me with the fog I am in and give me a correct title? I would be most grateful. Jonny
I think this might be what you’re looking for ... ’ A very special Lancaster: A history of Lancaster Mk.1 R5868’ I found it on Amazon UK. 4 used copies available from GBP3:00 . The Lancaster in question is at the RAF Museum, Hendon ... I was there yesterday with my cousin. The paperback book is 32 pages, shipping weight 9.1g, published by Pitkin Pictorials for the RAF Museum in 1975. Hope this helps, Jonny
