Lord Riot
XR751 was built in May 1965 and delivered to 226 OCU. It subsequently served with 29 and 5 squadrons before being assigned to the LTF at Binbrook in July 1982. Made completely oob, with the addition of the DA code (from a Tornado F3) to represent a mid-80s LTF jet. It's a great kit, highly recommended - fits together well with minimum filler required. KingTiger435
I can't see the photos but I'm sure it's a lovely build, considering your standards. In the instructions airfix refers to XR751 as an F.1, is this a mistake then? I see everything referring to that airframe as F.3. Thanks in advance
Lord Riot
Thanks @KingTiger435, nice of you to say and take an interest in this old build. The hosting site must have deleted the images by now, so I’ve taken a few more if you or anyone else would like to see. Hopefully my standard has improved a bit since I built this one! XR751 was built as an F.3, so it must be a typo in the Airfix instructions, definitely not an F.1. And with a Binbrook stablemate. 4
