Hockeyboy76 Posted July 20, 2019 Share Posted July 20, 2019 My second and proper build in this GB (after the Egg-4) is Fujimi 1/72 Phantom FGR.2. It will be built as the anniversary jet flown by Alcock and Brown(e). The pilot was the grandson of the original pilot who flew the Vickers Vimy. The nav, there were no Browns in the Phantom fleet in fact the only nav with a Brown surname came from the Bucc fleet and he had an e on the end, but in true RAF fashion, it was close enough. Thanks John. I’m going to try the kit decals anyway. Have been reading up good ways to get them to conform. I do have this in 1/48 Hasegawa boxing in the stash.
