injidup
Hi folks, I have just rescued a Tamiya Lotus Seven that I made at least 30 years ago from my parents loft when I visited the UK this month. I’d like to mod it to make a replica of the Westfield that I built. I fitted a Nissan SR20DE engine (NA) from a Silvia S13 and would like to fit one in the “seven”. All the kits of the Silvia have no engine detail. Does anyone know of a kit or a resin SR20 I could use? cmatthewbacon
The only possible option I can think of would be a 180/200SX, but neither the Fujimi nor Tamiya kits has an engine... best, M.
Schwarz-Brot
http://www.eightyone81.com/tk034-rocket-bunny-boss-aero-nissan-240sx-silvia-s14-zenki/ This might help a bit, though it doesn't look like there's a whole engine included. The missing bits can probably be scratchbuilt. On request you might get the parts for a fair price without the rest of the transkit, though. Detail and quality of their resin parts is good, fitment not so much.
Admiral Puff
You could have a look on the Shapeways site - it's just possible (haven't checked, so can't say for sure) that someone has had one done in 3D printing.
FG2Si
The Parts Box makes a couple SR20 engines. They're Australian and BNA has a couple of them in stock. https://www.bnamodelworld.com/model-cars-motorcycles-detail-up-sets-the-parts-box-tpb-1206?zenid=3ec3a663463d0b5de459bba2c1014e51 Hope that helps, Carl 1
