100 F-35 s now going cheap?

I'll take three.  One to play with, one to store mint-in-box in the hope the price goes up once the collectors get into the market, and another one for special occasions :) £50 each ok?

We Dutch also just bought a few more. 37 instead of 35 or around that.

Oh, but for the times we had 213 F-16's... or 138 F-104's and 75 NF-5's...

Cheers,

Andre

Define "cheap"!😂.

On the assumption that these aircraft have not yet been produced, let alone delivered, I think you may be right. Did Canada not also ditch the F-35 ?

Yes but there is a line of thought that a Typhoon would fit the Canadian requirement better than the F-35

Would it not fit most of the other countries requirements as well?

It's cheaper and you don't have to beg Lockheed Martin for spare parts or the maintenance computer codes.

Also it's proven and doesn't have the defect list of the F35

Maybe. But the Typhoon is now more expensive to buy than the Lightning (F-35 type).

Seeing as the UK build the back end of every F-35,....... it would be nice if Mr. Trump & Boris could see their way to re directing the Turkish maintenance contract to the UK now!
