Aardvark
Hi, Continue to make the radiator: I tried to cool through it a test batch of oil .... does not work! 😁😁 Maybe it's because I didn't made the back of the radiator? 🤔 😁😁 Need to smoke manuals! 😉😁 B.R. Aardvark
So, little....very-very little progress. 😶 First of all, I smoke all manual 😁 to which my tentacles could reach ... although not.....the Aardvark, after all, has claws? 😁 Amazing, but picture background radiator Typhoon no in any book who have claim for a serious design study Typhoon! 😲 But this part have in book about building Airfix 1/24 scale model! Well, let's take it for a sample! In second, I'm sanding with handle drilling the partition inside the fuselage and now my radiator is getting inside: Next stage radiator tunnel (integration him with fuselage inside it's hard task) and after cocpit. PeterB
Very nice Serge - far better than the latest Airfix 1/72 by the time you have finished. You have a lot more patience than I ever had. Pete
Aardvark
Rain...I don’t want to do anything with this Typhoon....because after this: On 7/30/2019 at 1:15 AM, Aardvark said: I smoke all manual B.w. manual: I have not yet figured out how to make this gray detail: Any idea? Maybe need maked cocpit interior: in waiting for ideas with the back of the radiator? About camouflage. Of course, need FROG/NOVO version but as all know I don't have original decal for Typhoon car door... Most light way probably was this version: Because I have NOVO decal for bubble Typhoon....cut one nazi aircraft victory added squadron leader.... but this is not sporting behavior! 😁😁 So, need hand made stencils for NOVO version: But I don't have version 609 squadron because this Typhoon have little emblem with white letters...it's very-very difficult for hand made as for my. So then 56 squadron! If I can’t manually make these codes 🤗..... then here are the best candidates: with desert camouflage Typhoon... "Smoking" copy original Russian manual on Typhoon: I found that the FROG does not have the right lines of panels on the wing: No problem correct this wrong panel line....but is it worth it, because in fact the model has significant errors in geometry? Don't know.... B.R. Serge P.S. It's was theory posting....😁😁

Some decals presented to my: But as you see: all this decal for Donetck "Bubble canopy" Typhoon! 🤗 So, will use only stencils from decal! B.R. Serge P.S. I never tasted "Kumis"/"Koumouis": https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumis I used this poster for two reasons: 1. I used original vodka poster many times on Britmodeller, so I decided to add a slightly different version. 2. This model Typhoon mould in Middle Asia....as and "Kumis"/"Koumouis"! 😁 29 minutes ago, jean said: But I never say no to Vodka... O.K.! jean
Hi Sergei @Aardvark you should try Kumis! It is an acquired taste, but once you get over the feeling you are going to be sick, you can't have enough!!! Superb with vodka chasers!!!! I did over one month of work in Kumis country several years back, all on horse back, and that type of drinking started every day at 8:30 in the morning and ended up after dark... My horse riding improved hundredfold. Not sure about the quality of my work though... Cheers. JR 1

It is an acquired taste, but once you get over the feeling you are going to be sick, you can't have enough!!! Kumis physically not done here. Here horses are used either for sports riding ..... or in very small quantities for the production of Mahan sausages (No English Wikipedia article, only Russian article, use translator) https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Махан_(колбаса) , which made local Tartar diaspora are very expensive by local standards. Cow milk products common in the region are more common here. This is for drink: - Kefir https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kefir - Ryazhenka https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryazhenka - Prostokvasha https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soured_milk - liquid (10% fat) Smetana: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smetana_(dairy_product) - Ayran/Tan https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doogh Interestingly, in the formerly highly developed civilization called the USSR, all these dairy drinks were sold in glass bottles https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Молочная_бутылка .... almost like in England: and some modeller's used foils from milk bottle caps: in models for belts, sash wheel e.t.c....but some, the most experienced modelers, entered the dairies, and bought foil for covers in rolls there....and then glue it on the model reaching 100% similarity with bare metal! 1 hour ago, jean said: Superb with vodka chasers!!!! Interesting....Azovian Greeks living in this region drink with Chebureki https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chebureki and Ayran/Tan. According to them, this technology allows them to drink a lot of alcohol without consequences for the body and not get drunk at the same time. I tried 😊😁 .... to some extent this is true.😎 B.R.
