Ventilation for Air Brush

Oberleutnant

Recommended Posts

Hi gents,

I'm thinking about getting an air brush but the room I have to paint is very limited - actually my computer room.

I usually have the window open and the door and the draft pulls smells through.

I should also point out I use water based acrylics and any nasty solvent spraying I do outside.

Do I need proper ventilation do you think?

Yes,  particulates from acrylics are not good for you if you breath them in.

I would suggest getting a basic facemask with a particulate filter.

Face mask with replaceable particulate filter

Spare filters are £3, so not a fortune.

Pail

Thank you.
