RidgeRunner Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 (edited) Hi all, I just had time to pull out a few shots from the weekend's show out West. Typically the Friday was glorious sunshine, as was the Sunday. The show day, however, started overcast with occasional breaks and the gods onl;y decided to open the curtains and let the sun through as the show was closing! Well, that's enough banging on! Despite all that it was great to see the Alize in the air as well as the Spanish Harrier. Martin Edited July 15, 2019 by RidgeRunner revised images 12
RidgeRunner Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 (edited) Thanks, Andy. It was a challenging day. Martin Edited July 16, 2019 by RidgeRunner
Evalman Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Great set of images despite the weather. In fact better than if it had been sunny as shooting into the sun at Yeovilton is even less fun. Merlin/Wildcat duo is the 'stand out' photo. 1

Absolutly @Evalman but cloudy is equally troublesome, of course. Thanks for your comments. Martin
Alpha Delta 210 Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Nice selection, Martin. I would have liked to have seen the Alize. 1
RidgeRunner Posted July 16, 2019 Author Posted July 16, 2019 Thanks mate. It was my first time at Yeovilton since the 1994 D-Day influx of aircraft from across the globe for those commemorations. I really enjoyed the show. It had interest and was quite compact, unlike larger shows that we know who, this year, have struggled to get much of interest (other than the two F-4s and sole MIG)! 72modeler Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Nice ones, Martin! Thanks for sharing them- very good photography, too! 👍 Mike 1
