Aoshima 1/24 Fairlady Z

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

So this Is one of my all time favorite cars not sure exactly why but it has stuck in my mind ever since i first saw it many moons ago. The kit is very simple to build and goes together easily. Didn't fancy the box color so chose my own and think it suits the car well

Thanks for viewing.

Looks great, and very badass. Excellent colour choice... it's wasted on a Scooby 😜

M.

Lol maybe it's time for an Evo not in the blue though 😉

Yeah, this one looks real cool! I like the blue colour you've choosed and with the wide flares on, it give the aggressive look this car needs. Congratulations to this one

Thank you

You nailed that paint job again Andy, really beautiful work, and I also agree about the colour!

The Z cars are also some of my alltime faves, and I can put it down to an ex works rally car that used to compete in Motoring News road rallies in the 1970's - much as I loved the Mk1 & 2 Escorts that usually dominated the events (I ran enough of the things myself!) the 240 was a real beast and fantastic to watch (and hear!)

I've got the Fujimi kit of the 240Z and hope it turns out somewhere near as nice as your gem!

Thanks Keith I really can't explain why I like this car so much but of all the car kits I've built so far this is is my favourite by a mile.Just out of interest the kit I threw away the other day, well I dragged it out the bin stripped it and I've almost finished it. However the paint job is not great at the moment it's all down to the clear coat otherwise it will be returning to the bin I'm afraid. Still nothing ventured nothing gained I suppose

That is a beautifully bonkers looking motor! I hope it has a small-block chevy in it! It deserves it... :)

Cheers, Alan.
