rafalbert
I was going to build this as an aside to building the Matchbox kit, but it seems daft not to have it has a build in it's own right. I originally bought the kit from a gentleman on here (embarrassingly I have forgotten who), and as it didn't have the original bix, he threw in some "Alcock & Brown Special" decals (which I won't use). Some of the parts are off the sprues, and I have sprayed some areas white in readiness, but nothing else has been done yet.
FortyEighter
Have you any particular scheme in mind? Regards Mike
rafalbert
I am thinking a 56 Sqn machine in the grey scheme. At the moment I have only built up the cockpit, but will hopefully progress over the next couple of days. Pics to follow.

rafalbert
Hi guys, Please accept my apologies but I am not going to finish any time soon. Following the death of my father in May things slowed down, and after returning from holiday to find I have to have my little hound put down amongst other issues, my mojo has definitely left the building. No doubt it will come back at some point but I definitely will not be doing any modelling for the time being. Good luck with the builds. Very sorry to hear of your loss, of course take all the time you need to sort life out. We and the hobby will always be here. The funny thing is plastic never really expires so it will still be there when you're ready. Dennis
